Cor-Graphix Inks are a water based flexo series developed for corrugated printing on box, folding carton and POP displays. Cor-Graphix offers excellent press stability and low maintenance features. Ideal for 2 – 8 color applications or 2 – 3 color applications when die cutting in-line.
- Cor-Graphix inks are custom formulated to meet your equipment specifications.
- Inks can be formulated for in-line die cutting, folding or gluing applications.
- Inks will dry quickly to permit increased press speeds.
- We can formulate for higher end graphics equipment where we will use the glossiest, highest pigment load available and best ink vehicles to enhance the transfer and re-solubility of the inks.
- Our Cor-Graphix system provides excellent lay flat properties to ensure best on press performance.
Limiting clays and fillers in these inks designed for corrugated, POP and folding carton printers provides cleaner anilox, limited dirty copy potential, brighter colors, faster throughput and more profit per job.
Equipment Specifications: Cor-Graphix Inks are designed to run on all types of flexo presses. Cor-Graphix are custom formulated for each customer and will perform with a full range of anilox rolls. We recommend the use of photopolymer plates for good transfer. Testing is required to verify actual ink performance at operating speeds.
Quality Control: Viscosity will vary by formula. Tolerances are +/- 2.5 seconds with a # 2 Zahn cup. The pH will vary with a tolerance of +/ – 0.5 pH. All inks are supplied a little stronger than may be required to permit press side adjustments with extender to correct minor press and plate variations.
Shelf life: Inks remain effective up to one year when stored in a sealed container at 50-70° F.
Colors: Base and color matches available on request and custom developed to meet job specifications. All evaluations are preformed side-by-side.
Resistance: Resistance properties vary with application and substrates. For additional gloss, rub or skid we offer custom formulated water base overprint varnishes. Call our technical department at 414.461.4999 to discuss formulation for specific requirements.
Pre-testing on actual substrate is always recommended.
